i like Zed’s little wizard’s rules that he spouts. too bad it’s not the same rules as in the book.
ha. richard gets distracted by a nekkid kahlan and someone steals the horses. then Richard runs and catches up to galloping horses, jumps on, rides a bit. then is knocked off.

this new village Drendril, looks a lot like the last village. they seem to be reusing sets here.
the gimmick this episode is a hokey love potion that works only a minute or two.
how did richard get a vision of the horse thief. is it a seeker thing? how convenient.
oh, so there’s an assortment of potions. potions are boring.
oooo. a fight scene. they’re trying to get their horses from the potion dude.
i like it when Kahlan uses her power. it’s one of the few things in this show that seems to live up to expectations.
a potion in richard’s drink gave him his vision.
how convenient that the old shop dude instantly recognized the SWORD of TRUTH.
ooo. evil wizard in the neighborhood.
the potions represent drugs. the townspeople are addicted to them. OMG. how silly.
yes, Kahlan’s power kicks ass. now Zed has to explain it to Richard.
oh shit. they’ve captured Zed and put one of those stop-magic collars on him.

where’s Gellar? that was a good wizard. and Nathan. where the hell is Nathan? (I know, i know, too early.)
now Richard and Kahlan have to have a touching moment where she tells him about her power.
looks like Kahlan was bout to tell Richard she loves him.
on no, Zed just told the evil wizard everything. only Zed doesn’t know that he’s evil. Zed from the books would have seen right through this guy.
my god, this evil wizard’s scheme is stupid. uh, oh. evil wizard re-collared Zed.
here now, Richard is rescuing the horse thief kid.
the tavern bitch wants Richard’s father’s pendant in exchange for the potion to find Zed.
blah blah, run Richard, Zed’s in trouble.
now Kahlan has a touching moment with the horse thief kid, to teach him about love.
hold up, Zed is wearing the anti-magic collar, yet, he still seems able to command rats.
ha! the guy Kahlan touched came back and attacked Richard, thinking Richard threatened her.
now the potion wore off and Richard doesn’t know where to go and Kahlan is convincing him not to rely on magic.
the evil wizard took Zed’s power. stealing wizard’s powers was a sisters of the dark thing. i think that killed the wizards then.
look, the wizard made himself invisible, just like the piece of fruit in the beginning.
meanwhile, zed sneaks to the wagon to find his power, conveniently stored there. no, i was wrong, Zed found the collar and put it on evil wizard.
and Kahlan got back Richard’s father’s pendant.
now Zed tells Kahlan that her and Richard can never be and if she won’t tell Richard, he will.
